About This Project

BR2 Architecture was engaged to reimagine the exterior of the Century Casino St. Albert, transforming an aging industrial structure into a vibrant, contemporary destination that reflects the brand identity of Century Casinos.

The design focuses on elevating the building’s presence and enhancing the guest arrival experience through a cohesive architectural language. A refreshed colour palette aligns the facility with Century Casino’s established branding, while new architectural elements introduce depth, texture, and visual interest to the façade.

At the north entrance, a series of upgrades—including metal panel cladding, integrated LED light strips, and illuminated signage—create a more prominent and welcoming entry sequence. These interventions improve wayfinding and establish a strong first impression for visitors.

A new feature screen wall at the northwest corner, composed of metal and aluminum panels, reinforces the building’s visibility along Boudreau Avenue. This element acts as a recognizable landmark while contributing to the overall modernization of the structure.

Additional exterior signage and façade enhancements were implemented throughout the site to ensure a cohesive and unified aesthetic. The result is a refreshed identity that aligns with Century Casino’s newer properties across North America while revitalizing an existing local asset.

This project was completed in collaboration with Brenex, whose attention to detail and craftsmanship were instrumental in realizing the design vision.
